OUR MISSION

Friends of Recovery Oswego County's Mission is to work collaboratively to create and promote strategies and solutions for long-term recovery for those impacted by substance use disorders in Oswego County and ensure the availability and accessibility for all.

FOR-Oswego County plans to accomplish this mission by:

- Promoting education, prevention, and awareness activities in effort to reduce stigma and discrimination related to all pathways to recovery from substance use disorders.

- Create and promote strategies and services around the eight dimensions of wellness, thereby improving the quality of life, reducing the risk of recurrence, and assisting in the development of a sustained recovery community.

- Advocating for legislation and services that support all pathways to recovery

 

MEETING SCHEDULE

Board of Directors Meets on the 4th Thursday of the Month at 10:00 am via Zoom.

Additional working meetings are scheduled in-between Board Meetings.
